Between the bedroom and living room is a door for privacy. The living room is yet another incredible room with +/- 12 foot ceilings and wide-planked cypress floors! The ceiling comes alive with a beautiful stainless Hunter ceiling fan and two rows of halogen spots that can be dimmed down to any level! These spots act to highlight all the furnishings and wall hangings. These include a beautiful mirror above the second fireplace, a fleur-de-leis and a huge wood arched window piece that has clear and blue glass panes that was recovered out of an old building being destroyed. The furniture in this room is larger than life! Two large spiral-backed chairs, a coffee table, a full-sized couch that folds out in to a comfortable queen sized bed and an entertainment center that contains a television, stereo system, CD player and DVD player.

Off the doorway from the living room, one steps on to a true piece of French Quarter history and charm... the balcony!! Featuring views of Barracks Street, Bourbon Street, the surrounding rooftops of the French Quarter, the high-rise buildings of downtown New Orleans glowing in the evening sky AND even a ship on occasion making its way up or down the mighty Mississippi River, one feels at home in their French Quarter flat!!!
