Flagstaff City Opinion

  • 5 Jan 2009
If you are looking for a place that panders to drunks, homosexuals and panhandlers, Flagstaff is the place for you. It's also a city run by idiots who put a convention center on the busiest intersection in town when they could easily have put it in a lower traffic area right next to access to both highways 17 and 40. Traffic in the summer or ski season is hellacious and the cost of living is ridiculous. As in many parts of Maine, that are the playground of the wealthy from Boston, Flagstaff is the playground of the wealthy from Phoenix. Their second homes drive the housing costs up and there are few jobs that pay enough to really live well. There are so many other cities in this country that are as beautiful as Flagstaff but have a lower cost of living so don't waste your time here.
