Maumelle is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States and a suburb of Little Rock. Founded by Jess Odom with federal assistance from the Urban Growth and New Community Development Act, it is an affluent master-planned community. According to 2005 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city was 14,318.[1] However, a special 2006 census conducted by the Census Bureau found 15,115 people in Maumelle (March 9, 2006).
