Resolved Question: Will this video card work with my computer?

i have an hp a6009n and I want to stop using the crappy integrated 6150SE graphics and get something better. my budget is pretty low so i was thinking about this one: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10098942&catid= the problem is i only have a 250watt psu and the card needs 350watts. do i really need a new psu if so any reccomendations? I plan to play games like counter strike source and gta san andreas at full specs and resolution. is this configuration gonna work out for me if i get a ...

Voting Question: Is this computer good?

i use PC for the usual plus i will like to play games, i cant wait to play GTA san andreas and True Crimes. But i know i need to BUY a better graphics card to put inside a slot, but besides that card, how is it? It is also refurbished! http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10109015&catid= or what about this, its about 300 more, but has a better graphics card, CPU and new http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10107936&catid=

Voting Question: CPU and basic Computer Advice?

The part that makes it hard to choose, is that i also would like to play games on it such as GTA San Andreas. I dont know if its just me, but i think the computers with the GOOD graphics card (512mb dedicated) would be more expensive than to just buy a computer with a bad graphics card then upgrade it afterwards. I know ram should be at least 3mb, harddrive should be at least 250gb, but i am not sure about the CPU specs. How much should i be looking to spend for just the tower? here is one ...

Resolved Question: I have a 52" LCD TV, I live in San Fracisco CA. Is it possible it might tip over during an earthquake?

I recently bought a 52' LCD, but I'm paranoid that it will tip over during a earthquake. The fact that San Francisco is nearly on the San Andreas Fault. I've seen Circuit City use wire cables, they attached the cable to the wall mount screws to the shelf from tipping over. I decided not to mount it against the wall. Is it a good idea to cable the TVs wall mount screws to the wall from tipping over? I have it on a table.

Resolved Question: California PPl: The Next big earthquake???

How many of you think that California with fall into the ocean like the "myth" when the next big earthquake will occur. California is divided the San Andreas Fault, does that mean if this were to occur, all of california would slowly sink into the ocean or about half? I dont want a random thought, but an opinion from someone who is experienced, has really thought about this, and has knowledge. I know it seems highly unlikely for CA to just "snap" but Im referring to sinking over time or drifting from the US.
