Voting Question: Where can I purchase Kryolan face paints?
I know there are various websites that provide them, but I'm actually looking for some I can purchase over the weekend .. basically ASAP. Specifically Kryolan Supracolor Clown White and black, water-based (beats buying MAC chromacake for 3-4x Kryolan's price!!). Does any one know if any specific stores sell them? Maybe Michaels, or some Halloween stores? I am in 90640, CA. But if any specific stores like the ones I just mentioned carry them, I need to find them!! Thanks :) Resolved Question: chemistry help please?
if you have a mixture of a solid and its saturated solution and filter the mixture to get rid of the solid how have you changed the concentrations of the quantities dissolved in the saturated solution?
When I filter Ca(OH-)2 solution I'm not supposed to wash the precipitate with water. Why?
And why does it not matter how much water is in the beaker before adding the Ca metal, as long as I see white precipitate at the end?
THANKS MUCHO for the help! :) Resolved Question: why is my car overheating?
1994 honda civic with a 1995 si vtec swap. 150,00 miles. so i was driving from monterey bay ca, and i was coming to fresno ca. i was passing pacheco pass mountains. and on the way down from the big mountain climb, my car temp meter rocketed up high! so i pulled over. i opened the hood, let it air out for about 20 min. i had a rag there. so with the protection of the rag, i opened the radiator cap. i could not see radiator fluid because it was all boiling in the resevoir tank. luckly i ... the frirst time it overheated, i noticed that the rad fan was not on. so i checked the fuses and they were all okay. i need some help.
oil is not milky.
and i belive there is a leak of something towards the back of the engine. right below the throtle bodies. Close All
Voting Question: Why is California so dog UNfriendly?
I live in the South Bay (south of San Francisco) area, and am so frustrated with how every county park in my county forbids dogs, even on leash, the only local city park that lets people swim forbids entrance to dogs in the park at all, outdoor events such as "music in the park" forbid dogs, as well as as all the state parks in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara County. Even the state parks forbid dogs on all hiking trails! Why?

I just got back from a driving trip to WA with my German Shepherd, and up there was welcome in virtually every park on a leash as well as all lakes & hiking trails.
My GSD and I both love to swim and there is nowhere within a 2 hour drive I can take her swimming. There is a dog beach in Santa Cruz but the water is so rough I can't swim in it, not to mention great white sharks.
Anyone else in CA encounter this and does anyone know WHY?? Know of any resources where I can find places that are dog friendly in the great outdoors? All we have here is a tiny dog park but we want to go on long hikes & swims.
I don't mean a little one acre dog park, I mean a 5 mile plus hike.
Ok, I'm an hour south of SF in San Jose. Maybe SF is dog friendly but San Jose sure isn't! Close All
