I will be staying in Irvine,Ca for a few days for some training this August. I wanted to travel up to see the Sequoia National Park and possibly even Yosemite if I could. Could someone give me some basic tips about real world times for driving from Irvine? If not possible, maybe some good places to stay (and possibly fly out of) around the parks? Hi, We're planning to drive from San Jose, CA to the Yosemite national park. I've never been there before and have no idea about how crowded the road's going to be. We're planning to leave around 8PM on Thursday. How long is the trip going to be? Should we expect traffic (considering that it's a long weekend)? If yes, how bad will it be?
