In mid-January, a sheriff's deputy in Kandiyohi County stopped a van for crossing the center line at 2:23 a.m. A passenger in the van said her name was Alianiss N. Morales -- which authorities have determined was Franco's alias.In 2006, a woman who told police she was Morales drove over a curb and onto a lawn in Montevideo and was fined $182 for failing to possess a driver's license.Illegal immigrant walks.Earlier this week in Marshall, Pedro Diaz-Pineda paid a $332 fine for running a stop light and giving police a fake name. During the traffic stop last week, Diaz-Pineda told authorities he was here illegally from Honduras.

Pablo Ruiz Jauregui came to the United States from Guadalajara twelve years ago for work.
"To make dollars," he said.
He says that's the same reason why many Hispanics come to the US.
"A lot of people come here because they want to make a better life. Their children have nothing to eat, and they cross the border illegally," Jauregui said.
But he says those who come here illegally, like the woman involved in the deadly Cottonwood bus crash, should face the consequences of their decisions.

Good Morning!
My son, Jason is 4 years old and not potty trained. He has special needs. Because of a very hard delivery he has some brain damage. So mentally he is about 2, and speaking wise he is about 18 months. Right now he will not sit on the potty at all. I bought this potty training toy at Wal-mart:

It was on clearence for $ 11.00. I just want to know how to make him want to use it! I hope this toy helps. But I want to know what kinds of tricks will help. Now here is one thing I will not do. Candy, I will not use candy. He really doesn't like candy and rarely gets it.
I want to teach him to sit for both. I want him to be fully trained on the potty before even thinking about having him stand. I would prefer that he sits anyway. It is cleaner and his future wife will thank me for it later! LOL!!!
Anyway any ideas or suggestions, websites will be very helpful!

Tried the cherrio thing with him. He looked at my husband like he was crazy. Again I would like to say that I want him sitting. There is no reason why he needs to be standing. Any other ideas??
Jason doesn't even care about it if he goes pee or poo in his diper. He doesn't tell us. He fights us every time we try to change his pull up. But if we try to put him on the potty he fights that too!
We are at our witts end. We have a 13 month old boy too. And so I can not be in the bath room for 30 min. And Jason is so hyper that it is hard for him to sit still!
Do you have any ideas to keep sitting for a bit!

Resolved Question: Tree ID-CO. Not native(?) spaded leaves, helicopter seeds, smooth rippled bark, pollen fronds, gold in fall?
This tree is not native(?) but leaves resemble Cottonwood, a native to Colorado. Have seen planted around as an ornamental. Gets big, ours is 50ft tall and round. Sheds yellow/brown pollen fronds, then helicopter seedlings, then golden foliage in Fall. Bark resembles maple, smooth on branches but trunk has vertical cracks, deep reddish/brown bark on branches to silver/gray/black on trunk. Ideas? Resolved Question: I saw something weird today in a Denver city park (it isn't what you think...)...?
I was walking through Washington park in Denver, and I saw some sort of old, disconnected electrical device on a tree. It looked like a birdhouse without the hole, it was rusty, and it had a three-wire electrical cable, about an inch in diameter, and about four feet long, dangling out of it. It didn't look like a light fixture, or any typical device that I could ID. It was stapled about ten feet up on a cottonwood. What the hell is it?
