"Obama was part of a team of attorneys who represented the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in a lawsuit against the state of Illinois in 1995 for failing to implement a federal law designed to make it easier for the poor and others to register as voters." Case Name Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank Fair Housing/Lending/Insurance Docket / Court 94 C 4094 ( N.D. Ill. ) FH-IL-0011 State/Territory Illinois Case Summary Plaintiffs filed their class action lawsuit on July 6, 1994, alleging that Citibank had engaged in redlining practices in the Chicago metropolitan area in violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), 15 U.S.C. 1691; the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. 3601-3619; the Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; and 42 U.S.C. 1981, 1982. Plaintiffs alleged that the Defendant-bank rejected loan applications of minority applicants while approving loan applications filed by white applicants with similar financial characteristics and credit histories. Plaintiffs sought injunctive relief, actual damages, and punitive damages. U.S. District Court Judge Ruben Castillo certified the Plaintiffs’ suit as a class action on June 30, 1995. Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, 162 F.R.D. 322 (N.D. Ill. 1995). Also on June 30, Judge Castillo granted Plaintiffs’ motion to compel discovery of a sample of Defendant-bank’s loan application files. Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, 162 F.R.D. 338 (N.D. Ill. 1995). The parties voluntarily dismissed the case on May 12, 1998, pursuant to a settlement agreement. Plaintiff’s Lawyers Obama, Barack H. That, Obama started the whole "affordable" housing deal with ACORN. This spread to the Carter and Clinton administration and resulted in what we have today. I love the fact filled arguments the democrats are posing!! Close All

Resolved Question: Does ANYBODY Here Want To Bet That The TMK Isn't LUIS ALCAZAR ...?

I don't know, just a thought; I KNOW he loved CARLY TO DEATH; maybe he felt she deserved death for marrying JAX!! Or maybe it was a front to throw everyone off, make 'em think the motives of the TMK were to send a message to SONNY; and it might be related to hurting SONNY!! Don't know what Maxie had to do with SONNY, other than MAXIE & GEORGIE are FRISCO & FELICIA's kids, & FELICIA was mixed up with LUKE at one time ... AND, LUKE & SONNY were once long-time business partners. Also, ALCAZAR had once kidnapped MAXIE & GEORGIE! FELICIA ... View All

FELICIA had to offer herself in their place, but he wouldn't accept the exchange. Georgie WAS the only kid who tried to help his son; but we're dealing with the mind of a maniac bent on revenge. He HAD risen to the ranks of the CRIMINALLY INSANE before his 'demise'! LeTISHA? EMILY? SONNY's ex, JASON's sister. ALEXIS? SAM's mom. SAM? Oh ... SAM!! Didn't that l'il heffa kill ALCAZAR'S son in self-defense?! WhoEVer the TMK is ... he has it in BAD for THAT one!! I'm also thinking, maybe that little dude with the tatoo on the side of his neck ... the one who killed JUSTUS WARD! So-say HE died, and his 'twin' came on as as a 'NON-violent' character ... if it really WAS his twin. THAT one was a loose cannon who hated SAM, in particular! Jennifer, I MEANT LORENZO (lol) ... I don't remember if it was LUIS or LORENZO who kidnapped MAXIE and GEORGIE, though. I think it was LORENZO, I remember him being the so-called 'gentleman' of the two brothers ... the one who wasn't gonna get mixed up in the mob business. Good point, though ... another motive for trying to get ALEXIS is quite possible the death of LUIS by her hands. And I'd totally forgotten about SAGE being mistaken for EMILY by that nutcase who was trying to hold on to NICKOLAS! Even LORENZO seemed to hold a grudge against EMILY, for a short time afterwards. If there's no explanation of why whoever killed the nanny, though ... and why they tried to kill CARLY ... I'm inclined to think that either they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, or he was trying to make a statement to SONNY. Ohhh ... I just had a thought!! DIEGO was trying to get in with SONNY and JASON ... before he got vengeful and decided to do them in! Hmmmm ... FAScinating!! Another thought ... if it's DIEGO, I just thought of a motive for CARLY. DIEGO knew that LORENZO was in love with CARLY ... twisted as he'd become, he could easily decide to add her on his list of victims. I'd be more certain, if COURTNEY was still alive and being targeted! COURTNEY was DIEGO's first 'stalking victim' ... the first female to 'break his heart'! Close All
