She had a large one ( im talking 5+ft in the basement until who they rented off of found it and said get rid of it), and she has many small ones. I want one. I can't talk to her for information because we DO NOT get along. I know a reputable place to go, I just wanted to ask some people what they though. In my state there are no laws on reptiles! ( I could buy an Asp, a viper, cobra ect. with just proof of ID at the store!) so im not worried about permits ect. My only question is handling. I understand I'll be bitten by whatever I get someday ( all my ferrets have bitten me once or twice and trust me they can easily cause a trip to the ER).Its not the fear of the pain of the bite...its the fear of being struck at. ( I'm afraid of actually anticipating the bite, not the actual pain from it...animal bites of any species hurt)
I was also wondering I can't find any info on lighting for them if they need any. Not a single page lists the pros of baby alligators. I am willing to evetually have a full basement enclosure for it if/when it grows to massive proportions.
Anyone have a pet alligator that wouldn't trade it in for the world? Anyone have one and love it to death? Close All
