I applied to CSU Monterey Bay a few weeks ago for their spring 2009 semester. I haven't been to college at all, so therefore I have no college credits. But CSUMB said that they minimum amount of credits a transfer student must have is 60 in order to be considered for admission. Am I considered "incoming freshman" because I have not yet been to college, or am I a transfer student? I have a 2.90 cumulative grade point average, a 1460 (570 on Critical Reading, 520 on the Writing portion, and 370 on the math section) on the SAT, I took an AP English class in 11th grade and passed with a C, and half an AP Art class my senior year which I passed with a C half semester. Also, I did grew up overseas and attended a DODDS school my entire schooling "career" but I'm not sure if that counts as something that would make me stand out. My alma mater is in Seoul, South Korea. I figured that'd be enough to help me make it in. Anyways, I'm just curious if it usually takes this long for them to get back to you. My alma mater is in Seoul, South Korea. Hey, thanks! I don't think I qualify as an international student because a DODDS school is an American school, and I'm also an American citizen. A DODDS school is a school for kids whose parents are in the military or affiliated with it. The school I graduated from was a DODDS school, but it was located in Seoul, South Korea because of the Army base there. Thanks for your response! Close All
