Hello, My mom passed away and I’m trying to find a no kill shelter for her pets. I would love to keep them myself but cannot have more pets where I live. It breaks my heart to not be able to take them but I just have no way to do so. They are both sweet cats, one is 5 and the other is 6. Has anyone been to any haunted houses around Upstate SC? I'm wondering which ones are good and which ones are hokey for those of you who have been to them. Resolved Question: How do I tell my dad the Civil Rights era is over?
See, there's this kid I like. Great kid. He's in choir at school, does theatre with me, and has plans to go to college for teaching music classes. Thing is, he's black, and my dad doesn't step with that. My dad grew up in Greenville, MS, during the Civil Rights where he was the minority, so he has a hate of black people ingrained in him as he was the one teased and shouted at and beaten. I'm thinking about moving to Greenville, SC, and I was wondering if there are any good places to snowboard around there...within an hour and a half at least. I hear the Blue Ridge Mountains have some places, but anywhere else...or any more info on this stuff?Greenville City Opinion
