Hi! Heads up, sorry this is so long! I am eighteen years old, never had a boyfriend, and people tell me that I am SO oblivious to flirting that it's outrageous. I feel like this has ruined me to getting into relationships! There is this guy that I've known for nearly two years. I first met him through my mother, whom he started working for at a vet office when he was 18 and I was 16. I felt like we clicked instantly, but almost as soon as I thought about trying to get to know him better, my mom would tell me about how he would talk non-stop at work about girl after girl that he's slept with. I don't know why I'm still intrigued by him, but I really do feel like it was love at first sight with him. We have the same interests and everything. We've gone to concerts together before, but us hanging out was pretty limited until a few months ago. He has a girlfriend, whom he talks about NONSTOP when him and I are together. It really bugs me. My friends say that he might be doing it to try and remind himself that he has one, though. He's taken me to dinner a few times, we drive around and go nowhere just talking, and we get high together and end up bonding a LOT. I just love him to death. This past week he told me he had plans with his girlfriend twice, but both times they have fallen through and he's wound up going out with me. The other night we were high and I don't know if it was the drugs speaking, but he was really flirty, playing footsies with me at our late night dinner and putting his hands up my pant legs. He was sweet though, because there were quite a few times that he would hold me. Other times he would just lean against me and tuck his head against my neck and we'd cuddle asleep. I feel sort of wrong since he is still dating someone but he's moving to the west coast (we're east coast) in two months, and I feel like this is my last shot. I really don't expect much more than a fling-thing with him but at this point I almost don't care. It's almost like I just want to leave him something to come back to...I don't know. I know that it wouldn't be anything serious because he doesn't cheat, but when he's single he sleeps around a lot. I'm okay with this for some reason, though... Should I be bold and make a move? Should I just ease into it and tell him how I feel and hope it goes good? What should I do about the fact that he has a girlfriend, back off or go for it?
