Resolved Question: Church used in Kevin Smith's "Dogma"?
What is the name of the NJ church in the background of the "Catholicism WOW!" scene of the movie Dogma? I know it's somewhere near Asbury Park or Red Bank. I found a website a while ago giving directions to it, but I can't seem to find it now. Any help is much appreciated. And before anyone says it's in PA; there were 2 churches used in the movie, the one in NJ was used for the speech scene, and the one in PA was used for the final scenes, with Alanis. In 2005 there was talk of opening a NJ Music Hall of Fame in Asbury Park. I have not heard or been able to find any updates since, does anyone know if this is still in the works? The Asbury Park press says it will cost about the Twp about $14,000 in police overtime. Who do you suppose picks up the tab?
