Resolved Question: Navy Medical duty stations??

What are the best Medical Duty stations? I've heard mixed things about bethesda MD. I'm considering Portsmouth, VA; jacksonville or cherry point NC; Beaufort,SC and jacksonville FL.... thoughts on the best places to get stationed. I'll hopefully be an officer I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I have my doctorate in physical therapy, so I will be a physical therapist

Resolved Question: town close to Savannah, GA or Beaufort, NC?

My fiance and I are planning on buying some land and building a house in the next year or two. We really like Savannah and Beaufort, but we know we can't get the amount of land that we want for the price we want in both of those cities. Does anyone know if any nearby towns that are safe and nice? thanks...i'll check that out.

Resolved Question: Roaming cat controversy?

I've seen some posts expressing shock when people talk about how it is against the law in their particular area to let a cat roam. Fact is MANY cities or counties have leash laws that apply to cats. The following list took me about 5 minutes to compile and represent just a few of the areas where leash laws DO apply to cats. Green Bay Martin Co FL Birmingham Henderson, NV DuPage and Will Counties IL Naperville IL Tulsa Franklin Co. FL Columbus Rowan Co NC Montgomery Co MD Beaufort Co SC Cameron Co TX Overland Park KS Richmond ... View All

Please post actual code text NOT just opinions. No one cares if you think it is mean to cats or think it is a good law. This is about what the law is in YOUR area. As a side note to this, I read the laws in one state (don't remember which... though I want to say KS, but I'd have to look it up again) where it is legal for wildlife officers and other authorized representatives to shoot any dogs that are not on a leash in any state park.
