Resolved Question: Which is better - Luquillo or Fajardo (Puerto Rico)?
Which is a better place to spend part of my PR vacation? I'm sure each place has something better than the other, and they have their own strengths and weaknesses, but overall, which would you prefer and why? I"m looking for the best balance of beautiful beaches and natural scenery, activities, variety of restaurants and fun street walking. Thanks! Resolved Question: What is the best/cheapest way to get from San Juan, PR to Fajardo, PR?
The title says it all. I'm in San Juan, and I need to get to Fajardo. I can't use the carros públicos, as I have suitcases with me and they don't want to accept them. Also, a taxi seems out of the question. I have trouble stomaching a $110.00 fare >_< I would really like to just take a bus, but some people say that not all buses will allow you on with suitcases... does anyone know if there's any way to persuade the driver to allow me on with a suitcase?

All I need, is cheap. I don't care what mode of transport I have to take, so long as it's cheap.
Has anyone made this trip before? Can you tell me what method of transport you used, and how your experience was?
Thanks! ^_^ Close All
