Londonderry City Opinion

  • 30 Jan 2009
South Londonderry is the quintessential Vermont Town. Quaint, friendly and beautiful. Natural beauty abounds. The Village Pantry, a fancy french market/deli is a real sophisticated surprise for The New York Sunday Times and some excellent coffee. Try their ham and cheese on a fresh baguette, with butter, I dream about that breakfast snack. Close to Stratton for world class skiing and a day trip in to Manchester to shop the outlets (Garnet Hill) is always fun. Jamaica state park for hiking or snowshoeing is out of this world beautiful. A really nice place to live, full time or part time! Such a sense of community. I moved out of there about four years ago back down to the NYC area and I really miss my neighbors and community....and the foliage!
