Nassawadox is a town in Northampton County, Virginia, United States. The population was 572 at the 2000 census. Perhaps the most famous person to live in Nassawadox was Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup, a popular bluesman in the 1940s and '50s. Three songs that he wrote were performed by Elvis Presley early in his career ("That's Alright, Mama"; "So Glad You're Mine"; and "My Baby Left Me.")
