Dining Room. Sunny and bright, this room is the formal entertainers dream. Directly off the kitchen but entered by hallway and the living room, the party flow is complete. There are French doors to the Foyer and the kitchen, however, if you prefer your dining to be more private. All of the floors are traditional refinished oak. There are 4 windows and this room runs the width of the house providing natural sunny light all day long.

Kitchen and Breakfast Room. As you leave the dining room you enter the kitchen and breakfast area.  The breakfast room is amply sized and has room for a table a small couch and is used as a place to unwind while having coffee, as well as less formal meals. The house has 4 bedrooms.

The upstairs A/C unit was replaced within the last year.  The sunroom is operated on its own unit that can be turned on or off depending on the weather.

The Neighborhood (Museum District)

3141 Grove Avenue is in the middle of an incredible neighborhood. We are within walking distance of the soon to be greatly expanded Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as well as Carytown, Ellwood Thompson area, Schools and Churches. All shopping is within a mile of the house. Carytown has an old fashioned movie theatre and ice cream shops and boutique shopping.  We are located in the Cary School Elementary School District but all three of our children attend William Fox Elementary School not even a mile away on Hanover Avenue. John B. Cary is a wonderful elementary school with much diversity as is William Fox Elementary School. Both are public schools. St Benedicts Catholic School is at the end of our block and St Gertrude’s High School, as well as Benedictine High School are all within a quarter of a mile. Albert Hill is our Middle School and is within walking distance.
