OVERVIEW

Cabin and detached guest house/studio/workshop totaling 905 square feet rests on a quiet country lane in the hills of Benton County Tennessee. A 10' x 14' storage barn is also near the house as well as a rustic fence perfect for a garden or pet fence. The back of the property is covered in dense woods and is home to deer, turkey, rabbits, owls, quail and other wildlife.

Benton County borders the Tennessee River and Kentucky Lake marinas, campgrounds and scenic drives. The area is a sportsman's paradise. Kentucky Lake also has the longest continuous shoreline in the US at 62 miles! Largemouth bass, crappie, perch and catfish are some of the most popular species. Benton County contains seven wildlife refuges as well as a national park.

The main entrance to the Amish built cabin is flanked by solid chestnut posts and a porch swing giving the cabin a craftsman's aesthetic. Upon entering, you'll notice an 11' x 24' living space. The rear wall contains french doors with picture windows that open to a beautiful, wooded view.

The cozy bedroom ceiling and walls are covered with tongue and groove pine along with hand-scraped hickory flooring. These wall and floor treatments extend into the country kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom includes a toilet, shower and stoneware vessel sink with antique vanity and bronze fixtures. The quaint country kitchen has a large bay window as well as three other windows. Pine cabinetry, deep freezer, refrigerator, convection oven, microwave and double hot plate come with the home. It has a deep basin brown granite, deep basin sink. There is a place for a conventional oven if the freezer is moved to another wall. An antique table that seats up to six people can be left with new owner. And finally, a Victorian-style wood stove placed in the kitchen warms up the whole house!

The studio/guest space is filled with light from large picture windows by Pella giving a stunning view of the woods beyond. A patio with fire pit is a few steps from the kitchen.

Buyer will give an allowance to finish out two ceilings, depending on the offer.
