OVERVIEW

The possibly of being self-sufficient!! Bring your horses, cows, fishing pole and camera!
41 acres of beautiful farm located in Point Mackenzie Alaska. The property is in close proximity to the Little Susitna River (Great salmon fishing) It is outside of Wasilla, Alaska, and approximately 2 hours from Anchorage. The farm has a large shop with living quarters, 40x60 or (60x60 including two leans), Three large hoop houses (greenhouses) 32x72. One green house has strawberries planted in it. The other ones we have previously grow corn, broccoli cauliflower, pumpkins, small watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, ect They are ready to plant what you like to eat, and sell the rest! There are red and golden raspberries planted around the hoop-houses. A garden area is in front of them, with grass planted all around. There is plenty of water on the property to take care of them. There are water rights associated with the well. Approximately thirty acres are currently planted in Timothy Hay. The farm is fenced, and cross fenced. Presently, there are cattle being raised. A beautiful semi-private lake has shoreline on the property. The lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout by fish and game yearly. On the lake is a dry cabin with a wood stove, and a nice fire pit area in front. Live in the shop while you build your dream home on the lake. It is perfect for a walk out basement! The shop has a huge wood stove, office, living room/dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, laundry room, bathroom, and storage loft. The shop area is huge, we have pulled in two tractors with room to spare. There are many activites to do both in the summer and winter. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, ice-skating, snow-machining, horseback riding, four-wheeling, and fishing. The possibilities for this farm are endless!
Square footage is approximate. There are ag covenants on the property.
I love the beauty that surrounds us in all the seasons. I love having the sandhill cranes fly over and land in the fields nearby. I love seeing the swans in the lake in the fall. I love the fresh air, and seeing northern lights in the crisp winter nights. The lake is shallow enough that during a sunny summer it warms up enough to swim in comfortably. I love the smell and sounds of cutting hay in the summer, and seeing foxes run through the rows catching mice.
