We love the convenience of living in the middle of town. Everything is within walking distance...hospital, schools, grocery stores, library, churches. Kids can walk home from school. The house is on a cul-de-sac with minimal traffic. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. You can be as social as you want to be; in close proximity, but separate. The family room is a great place for the kids to play while adults have conversation in the living room. We have hosted dinner gatherings of up to 16 in the family room by rearranging the furniture. There are many windows so we enjoy lots of natural light in nearly every room. Lots of storage spaces in the house. The spacious fenced back yard is a great place for outdoor activities. Lots of trees around the perimeter of the yard make it feel very secluded, even though you're right in town. Enjoy the afternoon sun on the back deck or have friends over for a bbq. Have s'mores down at the fire pit...just like camping! Mature raspberry plants for making desserts and jams, happy rhubarb plants for crisps and pies...yum! It's been a wonderful home to us for many years, where we created a lot of great family memories.
