The Carmel Arts and Design District with great restaurants, shopping, and sculptures, (in November and December there is the Christkindlmarkt and outdoor iceskating) is about a 10 minute drive as well, with free parking.

Community notes: There is a Kingswood "block party" every September, with plenty of fun for adults and kids. The immediate neighborhood also has social gatherings.

There are wonderful and kind neighbors in all directions. Kingswood is also very dog friendly. Walking your dog here (if you have one) is a great way to meet neighbors.

The elementary bus stop is at the front of the cul-de-sac. The middle and high school bus stops are one and two blocks farther. It is a safe neighborhood with sidewalks galore.
