We have truly loved making this house our home. One of the things that drew us to it was the combination of space, functionality, and the setting. The home feels substantial without feeling excessive, and the layout gives everyone room to spread out while still providing comfortable spaces to gather.
The main floor is especially welcoming, with the kitchen, dining room, living room, and den arranged in a way that makes everyday living and entertaining easy. The large rear deck opens toward the backyard and mountains, giving the home a wonderful connection to the outdoors. In the summer, it is a great place to sit and enjoy the incredible beauty that surrounds Valdez.
The upstairs provides a very comfortable private living area, with three bedrooms, a convenient laundry room, and a spacious primary suite. The primary bedroom has generous walk-in closets and a bathroom that feels like a retreat, with a large jetted tub, separate shower, and private toilet room.
We have also especially appreciated the home's practicality for life in Valdez. The large three-bay garage provides an unusual amount of room for vehicles, equipment, hobbies, and storage, while the full-height area beneath the home provides even more storage without sacrificing usable living space.
Perhaps what we will miss most is simply the feeling of living here. The neighborhood is quiet, the backyard provides beautiful mountain views, and the house has given us a wonderful place to enjoy both the community and the remarkable surroundings of Valdez.
